Last week we rattled off our third outright win of the season with former brace face Matty Fitzpatrick picking up his 11th Pro win becoming the Valspar Champion. With Scottie Scheffler shaking up the odds board on Tuesday with the news he has withdrawn in anticipation of his second child’s birth.

The PGA Tour returns to the heart of Houston for the sixth time at the beautifully renovated Memorial Park Golf Course A demanding, grueling tree-lined, ball-striking test redesigned with input from Tom Doak and help from one of the betting favorite's Brooks Koepka. With just two weeks until the Masters, this event serves as the perfect final tuneup for contenders and a critical opportunity for others to play their way into Augusta.
Defending Champion & Past Champions:

Min Woo Lee returns as the defending champion after capturing his first PGA Tour title here in 2025 with a record-setting performance. The flashy Australian will look to become the first repeat winner in recent memory at Memorial Park.

Key Storylines:
Masters Prep Mode: Many players are sharpening their games for Augusta National. Expect strong ball-strikers and those comfortable in windy conditions to thrive on this firm, strategic layout.
Big Names in the Field: Headliners include Brooks Koepka (who helped design elements of the course and has a solid history here), Min Woo Lee, Chris Gotterup, Sam Burns, Tony Finau (multiple-time contender), Rickie Fowler, and more.
Course Fit: Memorial Park rewards precision off the tee, elite iron play, and scrambling. There are no "easy" birdie holes, and bogeys can pile up quickly in the exposed, wind-swept layout.
Betting Favorites (as of March 25 2:45 PM EST)
Min Woo Lee: ~15-1
Chris Gotterup: ~20-1
Brooks Koepka, Sam Burns, Jake Knapp, and others in the mix
Early expert consensus highlights Lee’s course knowledge, Gotterup’s recent form, and Koepka’s power and experience in Houston specifically.
